Southwest recycling program
Southwest Airlines are donating the leather airline seats to us for repurposing. We are working now in Nashville TN, to set up a whole system to dismantle and process all of the recyclable materials from the seats.
We are able to make crafts at our Long-term care facility enriching the lives of our member sites. We have partnered with employers who employ Veterans to dismantle the materials and create products that they will be able to sell on the open market, further creating jobs and opportunities.
This will help Southwest Airlines keep usable materials out of landfills while also helping to do a social good for our Veterans and families.
